Family Feud – Trivia App Review
Introduction
Today we will be talking about Family Feud – Trivia App Review. The game is offered in both the Apple Store and the Google Play store. If you would like to find out more about the game you can find it in the Google store here and the Apple store here.
If you grew up with Steve Harvey’s laugh echoing in your living room, then we have exciting news for you. Through Arkadium, you can play Family Feud at home, online. Through our in-depth review guide, we’ll fill you in on the ins-and-outs of this classic game.
How does Family Feud work?
Similar to how the television program worked, Family Feud provides a category with pre-recorded survey responses. Contestants will answer the survey with what they think is the most popular answer. Players must answer within the timed count down. If it’s on the board, then you get the corresponding points. The fourth round is “Fast Money” and you quickly answer a series of questions to earn bonus points.
Family Feud – Graphics Review
The graphics on Family Feud are not what draw players. Much like the original gameshow classic, the graphics are a bit dated. On top of that, there were a few glitches and it took a while to load. Possibly because of all the ads!
You can check the game out for yourself, but for graphics we’re giving Family Feud a 1 out of 5. Although, if you’re feeling nostalgic, these could be the graphics and loading speed for you.
Family Feud – Categories Review
The categories in Family Feud are predictable, but what make the game so fun. The categories are random such as “name an animal your mate sounds like when he or she snores.” The categories keep people laughing and keep the players engaged. You never know what you’re going to get! Because Family Feud’s categories keep us guessing, we’re rating them a full 5 out of 5 for categories.
Family Feud – Cost of playing
The cost to sign up and play Family Feud is free! However, there are so many ads on the screen while playing, it’s clear this is how the gaming company makes up for the lack of purchase price. Because of the distracting ads, we’re rating Family Feud a 2 out of 5 for cost of playing.
Family Feud – Educational Value
Family Feud is fun! But we’d be lying if we said we thought it had any great educational quality. The categories are based on random surveys and usually about common objects or people. You don’t learn much from the game, but it is a great way to kill some time.
Family Feud – Gameplay
Ads, ads, ads! Ads, everywhere. While we know games need to make money, this game has about three ads on the screen at all time, including videos between rounds. You only need to begin a game to see what we mean. It is very distracting and of course, very annoying.
Conclusion
Family Feud is fun, with a sprinkle of nostalgia. It can be fun to guess category answers and find some silly responses along the way. But the reason for the game’s low total score is primarily because the ads take over your computer. But don’t just take our word for it, visit https://www.arkadium.com/games/family-feud/ to play for yourself.
